Associate Sales Representative - San Jose and LA

About the role

We are looking for Associate Sales Representatives to join our US team in the San Jose and LA areas.

The Associate Sales Representative is a field-based commercial and clinical development role responsible for supporting the safe and effective adoption of Creo Medical technologies while contributing to the growth and development of assigned accounts and territories.

This position combines hands-on clinical support, healthcare professional education, account development, and commercial activity. The Associate Sales Representative will work closely with Territory Managers, Sales Leadership, Clinical Education, Marketing, and other cross-functional partners to support customer adoption, increase utilization, identify growth opportunities, and deliver a high-quality customer experience.

Key responsibilities:

Clinical and Procedural Support

Provide field-based clinical support for Creo Medical products and technologies in accordance with company training, policies, approved product labeling, and established clinical competencies.

Support physicians, nurses, technicians, and other healthcare professionals before, during, and following procedures involving Creo Medical technologies.

Assist customers in developing confidence and competency with Creo Medical products through appropriate education, procedural support, and follow-up.

Support customer onboarding and adoption in collaboration with Sales and Clinical Education colleagues.

Maintain the clinical knowledge necessary to provide credible, high-quality support within the defined scope of the position.

Complete all required product, procedural, clinical, and competency training and maintain required certifications.

Recognize situations requiring advanced clinical expertise and appropriately escalate to senior clinical or medical resources.

Provide timely feedback regarding customer experiences, product utilization, clinical observations, and unmet needs to appropriate internal teams.

Maintain strict adherence to company policies governing clinical support and avoid providing medical advice or directing clinical decision-making.

Commercial and Account Development

Partner with Territory Managers and Sales Leadership to execute territory and account plans.

Develop productive relationships with physicians, clinical staff, hospital personnel, administrators, and other key stakeholders.

Identify potential new users, procedures, departments, and accounts that may represent opportunities for Creo Medical.

Support the development of existing accounts by helping increase physician engagement, product adoption, utilization, and appropriate procedure volume.

Generate and qualify commercial leads within assigned accounts and geographies.

Support product evaluations, demonstrations, educational programs, customer meetings, and other commercial activities.

Develop an understanding of the sales process, including prospecting, stakeholder identification, opportunity development, objection handling, account planning, and closing strategies.

Maintain accurate and timely customer, account, opportunity, and activity information within Creo Medical's CRM system.

Develop increasing responsibility for assigned accounts as competency and commercial capability progress.

Work toward established individual and team commercial objectives.

Customer Education and Adoption

Support Creo Medical educational programs and physician development initiatives.

Coordinate with Clinical Education and commercial colleagues to ensure customers receive appropriate training throughout the adoption process.

Assist in identifying physicians and accounts requiring additional education or clinical support.

Support post-training follow-up to encourage successful adoption and continued utilization.

Help create an excellent customer experience by providing responsive, knowledgeable, and professional support.

Build long-term customer relationships based on trust, responsiveness, clinical credibility, and commercial professionalism.

Territory Support and Collaboration

Provide case and customer coverage across an assigned territory or region based on business priorities.

Coordinate scheduling and coverage with Territory Managers, Clinical Education, and other field personnel.

Support multiple accounts while prioritizing activities based on clinical need, commercial opportunity, and strategic importance.

Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Clinical Education, Medical Affairs, Operations, Customer Service, and other departments as appropriate.

Participate in regional meetings, national sales meetings, training programs, congresses, customer events, and educational programs as required.

Communicate field insights and competitive information to Sales Leadership and relevant internal stakeholders.

Key Skills and Experience Required:

1–3 years of relevant experience in medical device sales, clinical support, healthcare, procedural environments, B2B sales, or a related field preferred.

Experience within GI, endoscopy, the operating room, procedural healthcare, or medical device environments preferred but not required.

Demonstrated interest and aptitude in both clinical education and commercial sales.

Self-motivated, accountable and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Team-oriented and able to collaborate effectively across Sales, Clinical Education, Marketing and other functional areas.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
