Responsibilities Accurate packing and shipping of various sized products to ensure customer expectations are met. Determine method of shipment utilizing software Create shipping labels using multiple ship software platforms Maintain clean work area Meet minimum daily shipping output expectations Comply with all quality standards and policies Assemble cardboard containers for shipping Properly fill containers with void fill to protect product Examine shipment to ensure shipment specifications are met Confidentiality Assist in store/ warehouse (stock, parts pulling etc.) as assigned Maintain and promote workplace safety Securing and transferring cash or other assets. Qualifications Accurately follow directions, both written and verbal Maintain individual productivity and quality standards according to department requirements Regularly lift, push, pull and/or move objects 10-50lbs and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh up to 100 lbs. Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach Occasionally required to sit and climb (ladders and/ or stairs) or balance May be subject to environmental conditions. Protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes. May be required to function in narrow aisles or passageways. Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus. Attention to detail Great communication skills Time management skills Able to work well under pressure Must be able to work well with other staff members and supervisors Must have an open availability, flexible and able to work various shifts and over time. 1-2 years Warehouse experience preferred. Familiarity with safety measures in a warehouse Maintain and promote workplace safety Securing and transferring cash or other assets.
