Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Access Control Security Clearance in Salt Lake City, UT , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. You will monitor access, welcome and assist visitors, verify credentials, respond to security-related concerns, and provide clear, professional communication while maintaining a visible presence. Job Schedule:
DayTimeMon07:00 AM - 03:00 PMSat03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSun03:00 PM - 11:00 PMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and guests while following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at an aerospace and defense location.
- Manage front desk activities, including visitor check-in, identity and credential verification, badge issuance, and access authorization in accordance with site requirements.
- Monitor access points and security-related systems, maintain accurate visitor and incident records, and help to deter unauthorized entry.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and promptly notify designated personnel and/or emergency responders.
- Protect confidential and export-controlled information by following access restrictions, reporting suspicious activity, and maintaining discretion at all times.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least one year of security-related experience is required.
- An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
