Title: RN – Registered Nurse – Cardiac Surgical “We dedicate our lives to caring for yours” Position Description: RN BayCare Health System is currently seeking a Registered Nurse to join our outstanding and compassionate Cardiac Surgical team at St. Joseph’s Hospital . As part of the community since 1934, St. Joseph’s Hospital has been a partner for continued health and wellness. This is a Cardiac Surgical step-down unit, they care for post-surgical open-heart patients once they are stable from their CVICU stay. The RN responsibilities include: Independently caring for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards. Delegating appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team. Professional accountability and development. Performing the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned. Qualifications: Certifications and Licensures: BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification is required RN (Registered Nurse) license is required ACLS Certification is preferred PCCN certification is preferred NIHSS certification is preferred Education: Associates degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma is required Bachelors degree in Nursing is preferred Experience: 6 months RN experience is required.
