We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Tax Manager with 3 to 5 years of experience in tax preparation and planning to join our dynamic team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to leverage your expertise in tax regulations and client service to help individuals and small businesses achieve their financial goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individual and small business clients
- Conduct thorough tax planning and consulting to optimize clients’ financial outcomes
- Stay current with changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and maximize benefits
- Gather and analyze financial data, including income, expenses, and deductions
- Communicate complex tax concepts clearly to clients and provide guidance on tax-related issues
- Assist clients with IRS audits and resolve tax-related inquiries
- Maintain accurate records of client files and ensure the confidentiality of sensitive information

Requirements:- 3 to 5 years of experience in tax preparation and planning
- Proficiency with tax software such as TurboTax, Drake, or Lacerte
- Proficiency with CRM software such as TaxDome
- Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
