Candidates for the VPMA position must hold an MD or DO degree, with board certification required and primary care specialty certification preferred. While not mandatory, rural experience is also a valued qualification. The role demands a leader who can effectively collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders and is dedicated to the principles of the organization. The VPMA will play a critical part in the company's integrated nonprofit health system, which includes a vast network of hospitals, clinic locations, senior care communities, and a large team of physicians and advanced practice providers. The position is ideal for a physician with a strong background in a primary care specialty, who is passionate about the delivery of high-quality healthcare, particularly in rural settings.
