Job Summary: Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse (RN) Englewood, Colorado. This role is for a travel RN supporting an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) patient population, with responsibilities that include close monitoring and care delivery for critically ill adults. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days (12-hour shifts); minimum 36.0 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), and NIH (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale); minimum 1-year current acute care ICU hospital experience; RN license to be brought on the first day.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with medical ICU and neuro population; prior Meditech experience.
• Responsibilities: Provide direct bedside nursing care in the ICU; care for patients requiring cardiac monitoring and ventilation support; manage therapies including intravenous pumps and tube feed pumps. Typical procedures performed on the unit include intubations and central line placement.
• Additional Information: Unit operates with a collaborative day and night staffing model that includes charge support and a patient ratio of 1 RN : 2 patients.
