Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements
Bachelor‘s, Master‘s, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
Active Alabama Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
Outpatient orthopedics experience preferred. This includes evaluation and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions and post-operative rehab.
Productivity experience or ability to meet productivity expectations. Client notes productivity expectation of approximately 60 visits per week and seeing 12–14 patients per day with follow-up double-booking.
Ability and willingness to float to other clinic locations as needed.
Ability to work an approximate 36-hour guaranteed workweek with expectation of up to 40 hours. Overtime must be approved by the director before hours are worked.
PT required. PTA applicants will not be accepted for this role.
First-time travelers and new graduates will be considered.

Assignment Details

Shift Name: Days.
Travel assignment length: Approximately 13 weeks.
Patient population: Outpatient orthopedics.
Shift expectation: 36 hours guaranteed with expectation of working up to 40 hours; overtime requires director approval.
Productivity expectation: Approximately 60 visits per week; typically 12–14 patients per day with follow-up double-booking expected.
Floating: Candidate must be willing to float to other clinics as needed.
