Compliance Education Specialist

Job Summary Educate customers on extensive OSHA, HIPAA, and HazCom compliance through slide presentations, on‑site facility OSHA evaluations, HIPAA gap analyses, and customer consultations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide onsite services, including presenting the latest required PowerPoint presentations, conducting OSHA site evaluations and HIPAA gap analyses, providing gap‑analysis forms, offering Mystericycle.com system overviews, completing a safety plan, and evaluating the Safety Data Sheets/SDS manual with recommendations. Assist in managing the assigned territory and book of business; manage expenses related to travel, lodging, and flights to ensure compliance services are delivered professionally to all preferred customers within established due dates. Respond to all phone calls and emails from customers, providing answers, resolutions, and necessary information to assist them in achieving compliance. Utilize electronic technology to deliver and complete onsite visits, uploading customer documents and reports (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc.) as soon as possible. Continuously study and maintain current competency in bloodborne pathogens, OSHA, HIPAA, HazCom regulations, and CDC protocols for healthcare workers. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications Accredited or equivalent experience. Experience in a healthcare environment and/or OSHA/HIPAA compliance. Completion required upon joining the team of structured 30‑hour online OSHA training and required online HIPAA training, resulting in certification of course completion. Physical Requirements The job primarily operates in a professional office environment with standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and copy machines. Compensation The expected base pay for this hybrid position is $34 an hour.
