Location Highlights Burlington, Iowa offers Mississippi River access and a walkable downtown setting for clinicians seeking a smaller-city assignment. The city is home to Snake Alley, a noted historic street, and Crapo Park, which overlooks the river and includes walking paths and gardens. Geode State Park is about 20 miles from Burlington and provides hiking, fishing, and camping options. Burlington also sits near Fort Madison and Mount Pleasant, giving access to additional regional dining, shopping, and community events within an easy drive.
