Research Administrator - Post-Award

Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine seeks a Research Administrator to provide comprehensive post-award research administration support, managing sponsored projects from award through closeout. The role ensures compliance with federal and institutional regulations, coordinates financial and effort reporting, and serves as a liaison between Principal Investigators, departments, and central research offices. This position is eligible for remote work and supports a diverse portfolio of clinical and basic science research projects. Key qualifications: 2+ years of direct pre- and post-award research administration experience Bachelor's degree required Proficiency in budget development, financial analysis, expense forecasting, and financial reconciliation Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong customer service abilities Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe CRA certification or ability to obtain within 2 years preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr Civicworks
