Job Description
Title: Physical Therapist

Schedule: Days, 8-hour shifts

Assignment Details:
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 35 hours per week

Requirements:
- 1 year of Physical Therapy experience (required)
- Experience in long-term care or rehabilitation (required)
- Oklahoma State License (required)
- New Graduates acceptable if they have Level II experience

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Screen, evaluate, and rehabilitate patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, developing appropriate plans of care consistent with regulatory and clinical standards.
- Utilize standardized assessments and evidence-based practice to guide clinical interventions.
- Administer various rehabilitation procedures including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and wound care as part of the treatment plan.
- Monitor patient progress, adjusting treatments as necessary and documenting findings in the clinical record in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers related to physical disorders.
- Maintain clear communication with supervisors and healthcare team members regarding patient progress and treatment plans.
- Document all required information in the electronic health record in alignment with company policy.
- Supervise and support physical therapist assistants and aides.

Compliance / Notes:
- Participation in required trainings and meetings is expected.
- Adherence to applicable practice acts and ethical standards during professional practice is mandatory.
