Emergency Veterinarian

Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking a Full-Time Emergency Veterinarian to provide care for cats and dogs in a fast-paced emergency setting.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This position involves handling the full scope of ER responsibilities, managing a wide range of urgent, emergent and critical cases. The Emergency Veterinarian will be expected to deliver high-quality patient care, make timely clinical decisions, and work collaboratively with the team in a dynamic environment. This role is open to either experienced or new graduate veterinarians. Doctor hours are to be discussed.

Practice Details
The hospital operates 24/7, offering continuous emergency care. It is AAHA accredited and equipped with advanced medical technology including an endoscope, ultrasound, in-house laboratory, digital X-ray, and Snyder ICU machine, though equipment is not limited to these. Facilities include a complete surgical suite and a well-stocked pharmacy. Services provided encompass the full scope of ER care, including oxygen therapy.

Team
The team consists of 4 DVMs supported by a great team of support staff. It is a close-knit group of experienced veterinary professionals who pride themselves on fostering a collaborative workplace with a strong focus on mentorship and support.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
