Overview
Radiology Tech – CT, travel assignment in Hanford, California. Start date 09/08/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,279–$2,330 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: 3x12 nights (8:00 PM–8:30 AM). Work setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital.

Responsibilities
- Operate computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce cross-sectional images; generate sagittal and coronal reformats for radiologist interpretation; perform CT procedures and related imaging (general radiography and fluoroscopy) as needed.
- Position patients, select imaging protocols, adjust exposure factors, and ensure image quality while minimizing radiation exposure and maximizing patient safety.
- Use PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images; maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with HIPAA and billing practices.
- Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment, manage supply inventory, and perform routine quality assurance to support reliable imaging output.
- Collaborate with radiologists and the care team, support EPIC workflow, and ensure compassionate, age-appropriate care for patients from adolescence through the geriatric population.
- Adhere to facility policies, safety standards, and vaccination requirements; participate in ongoing professional responsibilities and safety checks.

Requirements
- ARRT certification in Radiography and CT (R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) or R.T.(R)(ARRT)) and California Radiologic Technologist license (required in CA).
- Education: Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology (preferred).
- Experience: At least two years of recent radiology/CT experience.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required); fluoroscopy license (CA/OR preferred); venipuncture certification (CA/OR preferred).
- CT-specific: Advanced Certification in CT (required in OR and HI; preferred in CA).
- Equipment & systems: Must have experience with GE EVO CT Unit and EPIC EMR system.
- Additional: Must meet organizational vaccination requirements; eligible for E-Verify; HIPAA-compliant and able to work in a hospital imaging department, including night shifts.
