Securitas is hiring for a Full Time Security Officer to help keep our retail client's site safe in Burlington, VT. This is a new client with an official start date of November 1st, 2026 (subject to change).

Pay: $23.00/hr

Schedule: 8 hour shifts, 40 hours per week, 1st and 2nd shift (days TBD)

Basic Requirements:

• Able to remain on their feet and walk throughout an 8-hour shift.
• Proficient with computers and digital reporting
• Maintains a professional appearance
• Dependable, punctual, and observant
• Vermont Guard Card or the ability to obtain this prior to starting work
• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years old

Primary Security Officer Duties:

• Conduct interior and exterior patrols of the facility and surrounding property
• Complete Daily Activity Reports (DARs) and Incident Reports accurately and timely
• Respond to and verbally de-escalate situations as needed

• Maintain a visible security presence to help deter unauthorized activity and safety concerns
