Job Summary: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Clinical Nurse Chapel Hill, North Carolina. The Clinical Nurse provides competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards within a hospital setting. This role coordinates and delivers patient care using the nursing process and supports continuity of care. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 12 hours per shift, 36 minimum hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) from an accredited school of nursing; Registered Nurse licensure in the state of North Carolina; Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider (AHA or ARC); One (1) year of nursing experience; Clinical nursing; Patient care coordination; Nursing process; Patient education; Patient assessment; Location: North Carolina.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited school of nursing.
• Additional Information: Level 1 trauma experience and Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit (CTICU) focus experience; bedside point of care testing as required for patient care; utilizes healthcare organization and nursing standards, policies, and procedures in delivery of care; participates in interdisciplinary team discussions and promotes cost-effective care; assesses and anticipates discharge needs; reads journals to support applicable research ideas for practice; supports a safe, clean, and secure hospital environment for all patients and personnel.
