Role Description The Assistant Manager role at The Fragrance Outlet is a full-time, on-site position located in Antioch, TN. The Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager in daily operations, including supervising team members, opening and closing the store, and maintaining visual merchandising standards. This role oversees customer service on the sales floor, helps resolve guest concerns, and ensures a clean, organized, and inviting store environment. The Assistant Manager assists with scheduling, training new staff, and monitoring performance to meet sales goals and operational targets. Additional responsibilities include managing inventory, supporting loss prevention efforts, and ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures. Qualifications Experience in retail or customer-facing roles with strong skills in customer service, relationship building, and conflict resolution. Background in retail operations such as cash handling, inventory management, and visual merchandising. Supervisory or leadership experience, including coaching team members, delegating tasks, and supporting a positive work culture. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse customers and colleagues. Strong organizational and time-management abilities, including attention to detail and reliability in completing tasks. Comfort working with point-of-sale systems, basic computer applications, and following process and policy guidelines. Ability to stand for extended periods, move merchandise, and work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
