As an Armed Security Officer in a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for customers and team members. This driving post includes operating a vehicle in accordance with Allied Universal policy. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to customers, employees, and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, parking areas, delivery areas, and surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity within assigned areas, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain required documentation, including incident reports, patrol logs, and shift activity records, while adhering to applicable laws and Allied Universal policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or at least 5 years of armed security experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Security License in Texas.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
