Title: Robotics Operations Specialist

Compensation: $26/hr

Location: Saginaw, Michigan

Shift Times: 5:45 am - 3pm

Position Overview

Insight Global is seeking a Robotics Operations Specialist to support the day-to-day operation of autonomous robotic systems within a manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on operational role focused on monitoring robots, observing performance, reporting issues, and serving as an on-site representative for the team.

This position does not involve coding, software development, robot configuration, or engineering design.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor autonomous robotic systems during daily site operations.
• Observe robot performance and report system behaviors, issues, or abnormalities to the Robotics team.
• Perform basic troubleshooting, including restarting equipment or reconnecting systems when appropriate.
• Escalate issues promptly and help minimize operational disruptions.
• Maintain accurate documentation of robot performance and incidents.
• Follow all site safety requirements and operational procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in manufacturing, operations, logistics, customer service, technical support, or a similar environment preferred.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
• Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and professionalism.
• Self-starter with a willingness to learn new technologies and processes.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to walk extensively throughout a large manufacturing facility.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Comfortable working in a warm industrial environment.
• Steel-toe boots and safety glasses required.
