Help Business Owners Reduce Costs While Providing Better Employee Benefits

Heart Financial Group is seeking an experienced, licensed insurance professional to help lead the growth of our employee benefits division.

This opportunity is ideal for a motivated, relationship-oriented producer who enjoys working with business owners, developing new relationships, and helping employers address a significant challenge: providing meaningful employee benefits while controlling costs.

Through our strategic partnerships, we offer HealthShield, a Section 125 preventive healthcare and wellness program, along with a broad selection of medical insurance, supplemental benefits, and business protection solutions.

We are looking for someone who wants to build lasting relationships and become a trusted resource for business owners.

The Opportunity

You will develop relationships with business owners, CEOs, CFOs, human resources professionals, associations, and referral partners.

You will help employers evaluate their benefits, compare coverage options, and identify opportunities to manage healthcare expenses and payroll costs. Our strategic partners provide resources for quoting, underwriting, enrollment, implementation, and administration.

This position offers the opportunity to help build a growing employee benefits practice within an established financial services firm.

Our Primary Offerings HealthShield

HealthShield is a Section 125 preventive healthcare and wellness program designed to provide useful employee healthcare benefits while potentially reducing employer payroll taxes.

Program benefits include:

• Up to three covered in-person urgent care visits annually.
• Unlimited covered virtual primary and urgent care.
• Unlimited covered laboratory testing through QuestSelect.
• Approximately 800 commonly prescribed medications at no cost.
• Discounts on approximately 3,600 additional medications.
• Covered virtual mental health therapy.
• Personal health coaching and wellness resources.
• Care navigation and medical bill assistance.

With the exception of in-person urgent care and laboratory testing, designated benefits also extend to eligible spouses and dependent children up to age 26. Program terms and service limits apply.

For qualifying employers and participating employees, HealthShield is designed to operate at no additional net program cost through its payroll structure. Employers may realize approximately $680 in annual FICA tax savings per participating employee, depending on eligibility, payroll circumstances, and applicable tax requirements.

HealthShield can be offered independently or alongside medical insurance. It does not replace comprehensive major medical coverage.

Medical Insurance and Benefits Solutions

Our offerings include:

• Medical options with no deductibles and copays only, subject to plan coverage and service limits.

You will help employers understand differences in coverage, provider access, premiums, and employee costs so they can select an appropriate benefits package.

Additional Insurance Opportunities

Our strategic partnerships also provide access to supplemental benefits and business protection products. These offerings create opportunities to address additional client needs, strengthen relationships, and build recurring revenue.

What You Will Do

• Develop new business through prospecting, networking, introductions, and referral relationships.
• Conduct discovery meetings to understand each employer’s workforce, current benefits, budget, and priorities.
• Gather employee census information and coordinate proposals with our benefits partners.
• Present recommendations clearly, including costs, coverage limitations, and implementation requirements.
• Guide clients through enrollment and coordinate payroll and administrative setup.
• Maintain client relationships through service, renewal reviews, and ongoing communication.
• Collaborate with our financial planning team to identify additional business owner needs.
• Keep accurate records of opportunities, communications, and follow-up activities.
• Follow applicable licensing, privacy, carrier, and regulatory requirements.

What We Are Looking For

• An active Washington insurance producer license with the appropriate lines of authority.
• Demonstrated success in employee benefits, group medical insurance, or related insurance production.
• Experience developing business and working directly with employers.
• The ability to explain insurance and benefits in clear, practical language.
• Strong relationship-building, presentation, organization, and follow-through skills.
• Comfort working independently while coordinating with colleagues and outside partners.
• A commitment to ethical recommendations and attentive client service.

Experience with Section 125 programs, alternative funding arrangements, employer renewals, and referral partnerships is valuable.
