Apply Today! \n Job Summary: \n Sysco has immediate job openings for dependable local CDL-A Delivery Truck Drivers to safely and efficiently operate a tractor-trailer and manually unload/deliver various products (meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, dry goods, supplies, etc.) to customer locations on an assigned route schedule. Our truck drivers build relationships with each customer using their positive, friendly attitude and become familiar with their operations to meet needs and expectations. \n Minimum Requirements: \n \n 21+ years of age \n License to drive - valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with a clean driving record \n At least 1 year of driving experience \n At least 6 months of route delivery experience \n Must submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen \n Ability to read, write, and communicate in English \n Touch freight - may need to lift, push, or move product weighing an average of 40-60 pounds and as much as 100 pounds repeatedly \n Flexibility - overtime required, weekends and holidays as business needs require \n \n Preferred Requirements: \n \n 1 year of customer delivery experience preferred \n At least 6 months of hand cart/hand truck experience \n At least 6 months of food and beverage experience \n At least 2 years of consistent work history \n \n Sysco is an Equal Opportunity Employer: All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or other characteristics protected by law.
