This position involves providing comprehensive respiratory care to pediatric patients, including assessments, treatments, and procedures as prescribed within the scope of practice. Job Details:

• Shift: Days; 12-hour shifts per week, minimum of 36 hours
• Required Qualifications: Certification as a Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT RRT), valid license to practice, and a minimum of 0 years of experience in respiratory therapy. Education requirements include a relevant degree or diploma.
• Preferred Qualifications: Pediatric respiratory care experience, CPR certification (AHA BLS or ACLS), and familiarity with pediatric respiratory procedures.
• Additional Information: Responsibilities include operating ventilatory equipment, performing suctioning, monitoring vitals, conducting pulmonary function tests, assisting with procedures such as bronchoscopy or chest tube placement, and maintaining documentation of treatments. The candidate must adhere to hospital policies regarding respiratory care procedures, laboratory testing, and emergency response protocols, including CPR according to BLS and ACLS standards. The position involves routine equipment setup, maintenance, and collaboration with the medical team to monitor treatment efficacy.
