Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make an impact in educational settings by providing physical therapy services onsite for students. This contract opportunity offers the chance to work directly with schools near Peabody, MA, in a collaborative and supportive environment. You’ll be working one day per week during the 2026-2027 school year, using your specialized skills to support student development and success.

Qualifications:

• Active Massachusetts Physical Therapist (PT) License
• Willingness to obtain any additional MA educational certifications if required
• Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric PT setting is highly desirable
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, students, and families
• Flexibility to adapt to individual student needs and school protocols
• Must be able to work onsite (remote or Voco services are not offered)

Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy assessments, interventions, and progress monitoring for students
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized student treatment plans
• Document all therapy sessions, progress notes, and communicate outcomes to staff and families
• Participate in IEP meetings and support the educational mission of the school
• Educate staff and families on strategies to support student mobility and function
• Maintain compliance with all state licensure and certification requirements
