As a Security Officer Patrol Console Specialist in Malvern, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a professional financial institution location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. - Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, office areas, entry points, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and/or conditions that may require attention.
- Monitor access activity and help to deter unauthorized entry by observing visitors, verifying credentials when required, and reporting policy violations, suspicious behavior, and/or maintenance concerns.
- Support day-to-day operations by preparing clear incident reports, following post orders, and assisting with routine security-related duties in a professional manner.
Minimum Requirements:
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
