Administrative Assistant I - Part Time

Part Time - 20 hrs/wk $27.14 to $32.98 per Month Expected work schedule: M-f from 8:30 am - 12:30 pm Neighbor to neighbor, serving Clatsop County with integrity, honesty and respect. About Clatsop County Today Clatsop County is one of nine Home Rule counties in Oregon. Five non-partisan elected Commissioners set policy and appoint a full-time County Manager, who is responsible for daily operations. County services are provided through these divisions: County Administration (County Manager), Assessment and Taxation, Budget and Finance, County Clerk, Juvenile, Public Health, Public Works, Community Development, the District Attorney, and Sheriff's Offices. The county also administers a road district, a rural law enforcement district, and a local sewer district. The Position The purpose of this position is to provide clerical, administrative, and customer service support for the District Attorney's Office by assisting staff, maintaining administrative processes, and serving as a point of contact for the public and partner agencies. Required Qualifications Minimum high school diploma/GED, AND Minimum one (1) year of training and experience in the clerical and/or administrative field or any satisfactory combination of experience and training. Any equivalent combination of education, experience, and training which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities may be acceptable. Desired Qualifications Proficiency in intercultural communication, including the ability to read, write, and speak Spanish. Some college-level courses in business management, accounting principles, and techniques of project management or other related field. Knowledge of specific PC word processing software.
