About the Position

Job Title: MRI Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: MRI Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: 2+ years of MRI experience License: Must have a valid state license (not required at the time of submission) Certifications: BLS, ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT Must-Have: General MRI exams, implants, elastography, defecography, breast, and cardiac. Description: The MRI Technologist reports to the site supervisor and manager of radiology. Under general supervision, the MRI Technologist performs high-quality MRI examinations. Examinations are conducted in accordance with established protocols. This role involves working with various patient populations for physician interpretation. Other duties may be required as deemed necessary. Shifts are Monday to Friday, with potential for 4x10 or 3x12 schedules. Weekends involve working on Saturdays from 8 AM to 4 PM when scheduled. Traveling staff can expect to work 5x8 shifts totaling 40 hours on non-Saturday weeks. On weeks with Saturday work, they will work four 8-hour shifts and the Saturday shift totaling 40 hours. Clienttion badge is required and must be provided by the agency. Experience with Siemens equipment is required. Documentation system experience with Epic is preferred. Candidates must comply with local radius rules during the application process. Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season, all employees may be assigned to emergency response teams.
