You'll get the satisfaction of supporting great products people use and love. In This Role You will act as a leader focused on quality and process engineering. What You’ll Do Establish and maintain operational standards while monitoring adherence to manufacturing operating systems Facilitate the Results Process using standardized tools and methods Support and resolve team‑escalated issues through coaching and abnormality resolution Validate permanent corrective actions and drive continuous improvement to prevent systemic recurrence Allocate resources to maintain production flow and ensure standards are met Plan and monitor maintenance tasks while driving process improvements Manage time and data to foster a continuous improvement mindset Lead the planning, coordination, and management of system changes and transitions Drive the creation and coordination of team activities Foster a culture of communication and recognition to develop a motivated workforce Create a conducive work environment that empowers teams to execute responsibilities You’ll Have Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience OR 8+ years of directly relevant industry experience 2+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends as required Fundamental knowledge of quality and process engineering Even Better, You May Have Master’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or related) In-depth knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and constraint management principles Direct experience in an automotive manufacturing environment, specifically with presses Proven experience managing a unionized workforce Benefits Immediate medical, dental, vision, and prescription drug coverage Flexible family care days, paid parental leave, new parent ramp‑up programs, subsidized backup child care, and more Family building benefits including adoption and surrogacy expense reimbursement, fertility treatments, and more Vehicle discount program for employees and family members and management leases Tuition assistance Established and active employee resource groups Paid time off for individual and team community service A generous schedule of paid holidays, including the week between Christmas and New Year’s Day Paid time off and the option to purchase additional vacation time Employment Information This position is leadership level 6 and ranges from $112,680-212,760. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. This position is hybrid. Candidates who are in commuting distance to a Ford hub location may be required to be onsite four or more days per week.
