Overview Licensed Practical Nurse – Long-Term Care (Travel - Temporary Assignment), Lewiston, Maine, United States. Start date 06/29/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay: 1,600–1,710 USD per week. Shift: 3x12 Nights. Setting involves hospital-based care with multiple clinical units including long-term and rehab-focused care. Key Highlights - Weekly pay: 1,600–1,710 per week - Contract duration: 13 weeks - Shift: 3x12 Nights - Start date: 06/29/2026 - Setting: hospital-style care with Alzheimer's/dementia, rehabilitation, and long-term units - Orientation: up to 16 hours unpaid Responsibilities - Deliver direct patient care under supervision of an RN, including monitoring and documenting patient status. - Administer medications and treatments per physician orders within scope of practice. - Support IV therapy, wound care, geriatric assessment, and care planning as applicable to unit needs. - Collaborate with RN and interdisciplinary care team to maintain a safe, comfortable therapeutic environment. - Assist with activities of daily living and mobility, fall prevention, and patient safety. - Communicate patient progress and changes in condition promptly to the care team; respond to call lights and urgent needs.
