As a Home Health Aide at A Place at Home Palmetto, you will play a vital role in delivering this care.

About the Role:

As a Home Health Aide, you will provide personal care and assistance to our clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. You will also assist with daily living activities, such as meal preparation, medication management, and light housekeeping. Your compassionate and patient-focused approach will help our clients maintain their independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities
• Assist with bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Manage medication and assist with light housekeeping
• Offer emotional support and companionship to clients
• Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of client care

Requirements:

• Experience in caregiving, home care, senior care, or patient care preferred
• Compassionate, dependable, and professional attitude
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt to each client's unique needs
• Reliable transportation preferred
• Current Level 2 Background Screening or willingness to obtain
• Drug testing required (provided by the company)
• Ability to pass AHCA Skills Assessment (completed by PRN)
• Ability to pass AHCA-approved competency test (provided by the company)
