Bus Monitor
Position: Bus Monitor
All Employees of CUSD #16 must have:
- Two valid forms of ID
- Fingerprinting and background check
- Current physical and TB test
Duties:
- Assist bus drivers with maintaining discipline, seating arrangements and overall control while bus routes are in progress
- Work with drivers in establishing a working relationship to ensure all district policies, procedures and guidance are followed
- Monitors are frequently asked to move from bus to bus due to specific needs of students and drivers
- Every effort should be made to work with drivers to assist enforcement of district bus rules, specific driver rules, seating arrangements, etc.
