Job Description:

Position Overview

We are seeking a Cyber Security Cluster Lead with strong experience in manufacturing automation, controls systems, infrastructure, and cybersecurity to support a cluster of manufacturing plants.

The position is responsible for maintaining a high level of reliability, security, and lifecycle management across existing and newly deployed automation and control systems, including systems implemented through capital projects.

The Cyber Security Cluster Lead will develop and strengthen cybersecurity and automation capabilities across the plant cluster while ensuring compliance with company standards for automation, infrastructure, and cybersecurity.

This role is particularly suited for candidates with a background in industrial automation, controls engineering, OT/ICS cybersecurity, IIoT/Industry 4.0, and manufacturing technology."

Key Responsibilities

Automation & Controls

Provide leadership and oversight for CCN-based automation and control systems across a cluster of manufacturing plants.
Manage day-to-day site automation activities within the assigned cluster.
Support existing automation systems as well as newly deployed systems associated with capital projects.
Develop and execute automation technology roadmaps for individual sites and the overall cluster.
Support automation project engineering and technology implementation.
Ensure automation systems maintain a consistently high level of system reliability and availability.

Cybersecurity

Take responsibility for cybersecurity technology across the plant cluster.
Ensure plant sites follow established company cybersecurity standards and requirements.
Implement and maintain cybersecurity technologies and controls within manufacturing/OT environments.
Identify and address cybersecurity risks associated with automation and control systems.
Serve as an escalation point for automation, CCN automation infrastructure, and cybersecurity issues.
Develop and strengthen cybersecurity capabilities within the cluster.




Infrastructure / MINT Standards

Ensure sites comply with company standards for:
Automation
Infrastructure
MINT requirements
Cybersecurity
Develop roadmaps for CCN infrastructure, including delivery of shared infrastructure such as IDC and CCN components.
Coordinate infrastructure lifecycle management and technology upgrades.
Support the planning and implementation of infrastructure improvements across the plant cluster.




Technology Lifecycle Management

Coordinate business involvement throughout the technology lifecycle.
Support technology changes, upgrades, replacements, and enhancements.
Plan and manage lifecycle activities for automation, infrastructure, and cybersecurity systems.
Ensure technology investments remain aligned with business and operational requirements.




Budget & Vendor/Resource Management

Develop and manage site and cluster technology budgets.
Manage spending for:
Support
Maintenance
Lifecycle management
Automation technology
Infrastructure
Cybersecurity
Ensure spending remains aligned with established technology standards and business priorities.




Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery

Own the Business Continuity Plan (BCP) for CCN systems.
Develop and maintain disaster recovery strategies for automation and control systems.
Ensure alignment between local business continuity plans and enterprise recovery procedures.
Ensure critical manufacturing automation systems can be recovered effectively following an outage or major disruption.




Required Skills & Experience

Experience in manufacturing automation and controls.
Experience with automation operating areas, including project engineering.
Strong understanding of industrial automation/control systems.
Experience with cybersecurity technologies in manufacturing or industrial environments.
Knowledge of IoT / IIoT / Industry 4.0 (i4.0) technologies.
Experience working with automation infrastructure and industrial control environments.
Understanding of OT/ICS cybersecurity concepts and technologies.
Experience supporting technology roadmaps, upgrades, replacements, and lifecycle management.
Experience with business continuity and/or disaster recovery for industrial/automation systems.
Strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills.
Experience managing budgets and technology-related spending is preferred.




Education / Certification

Required / Preferred Background:

Mechatronics Engineering / Mechatronic Engineer background.
Engineering experience related to automation, controls, manufacturing systems, or industrial technology is highly relevant.
