Job Description

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, and timelines.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to gather project specifications and requirements.
• Analyze blueprints, drawings, and other project documentation to determine project needs.
• Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and vendors to obtain competitive pricing.
• Identify potential cost-saving opportunities and recommend value engineering solutions.
• Monitor project costs and provide updates to ensure alignment with the approved budget.
• Assist in preparing bid proposals and tender submissions for clients.
• Stay updated on industry trends, construction methods, and material costs to ensure accurate estimates.

The Successful Applicant

The right candidate will possess:

• A strong background in construction cost estimation within the professional services industry.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills with internal teams and external vendors.
• Experience using estimation software and tools for accurate calculations.
• Problem-solving skills to identify cost-effective solutions and manage budgets effectively.
• An analytical mindset with a focus on detail and accuracy.
