Elementary Education Licensure Candidates must hold and be HQ in the Elementary K-6 (025) license area. Non-licensed, residency licensure candidates are eligible based upon holding a Bachelor's degree with a minimum 2.7 GPA and 24 semester hours of related courses; or passing scores on the Pearson Foundations of Reading test and either the Praxis 7813 Math test or the Math subtest of the Pearson General Curriculum test. Examples of related courses include: Birth-Kindergarten, Child Development, Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, English/Language Arts, Family Studies, Mathematics, Psychology, Reading, Sciences, Social Studies, Sociology.
