Legal Intern

Legal Intern - Summer/Fall Semester Internship (Start Date ASAP) About the Role Validity’s legal team is looking for an enrolled law school student who wants to gain SaaS industry experience and assist our legal team in supporting our sales and account teams and other key stakeholders. Our teams sell platform‑based services globally to customers of all sizes. As a legal intern, you will assist with administering, reviewing, and drafting contracts with a wide variety of counterparties worldwide. You will also work closely with finance and sales operations partners daily and develop and execute legal projects (such as integrating legal tools) as required by our internal customers. Team Dynamic We are looking for a candidate who has a strong research background and can meet daily (sometimes changing) deadlines as the business dictates. This position will give insight into how in‑house counsel operates within a SaaS company. Position Duties and Responsibilities Draft and review agreements with SaaS customers, business development partners, and other parties. Assist with privacy efforts internally. Assist with the building of legal technology tools. Perform daily case administration and assist with the legal department’s case docket. Develop legal skills and education and stay informed about relevant developments in the legal, privacy, and SaaS industries. Required Experience, Skills, and Education Currently enrolled in an accredited law school—preferably a second or third year student with a desire to enter the SaaS industry. Knowledge of agreements—you understand what each clause does, what each party cares about most, and general technological terminology. Team spirit and well‑developed service ethic—you are driven to be an excellent teammate to your legal colleagues, to provide outstanding service to internal and external clients, and to meet deadlines and provide solutions without alienating stakeholders. This is a hybrid‑office based position that requires three days per week (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays) in the team's Boston, Massachusetts (Financial District) office. This role is a summer and fall semester internship. Preferred Experience, Skills, and Education Interest in or familiarity with technology or the technology industry, especially AI.
