Title
Travel NICU RN - Neonatal Intensive Care

Schedule
Ratios: 2:1 (days, nights, weekends)
Orientation: 24 hours
Block scheduling available (can work 3+ shifts in a row)
Weekend coverage: intermittent; managers work with travelers to accommodate requests

Requirements
- Minimum 3 years NICU experience
- At least 3 years in a Level III NICU or 2 years in a Level IV NICU
- BLS and NRP certifications required
- Experience with neonatal dosage calculations and preterm infants
- Familiarity with common therapies and equipment used in a NICU setting

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to neonatal patients in a NICU setting
- Manage ventilator support and oxygen therapy
- Administer blood and blood products as needed
- Participate in high-risk deliveries and neonatal surgeries
- Care for central lines and IV access
- Support feeding tube placement and management

Compliance / Notes
Prior employed permanent staff must be separated from the health system for a minimum of 3 months to qualify.
References: 2 references covering 1 year within the last 3 years (can include Charge RNs/Leads).
Pre-start modules: average ~16 hours (completed pre-start and annually); time self-reported in Workramp.
Submittal notes: Tier 3 travel compliance.
