Key Responsibilities:
- Precision Imaging: Accurately interpret and execute physician orders for CT scans and other imaging procedures.
- Patient Interaction: Guide patients through the scanning process, ensuring they understand each step and feel comfortable.
- Technical Expertise: Position patients correctly, administer contrast dyes, and capture high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
- Quality Assurance: Review images to confirm they meet diagnostic standards, ensuring the highest level of care.
- Equipment Maintenance: Keep CT scan equipment clean, functional, and well-stocked, ensuring it's always ready for the next procedure.
Qualifications:
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program.
- Certifications:
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
- Texas Department of State Health certification.
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist.
