Kennedy Care: Join Our Kennedy Care Team as an In-Home Caregiver

Position: In-Home Caregiver for Veterans (Life Care Professional)

Location: Akron, OH (Potential for additional hours within 30 miles of this location)

Hours: 16 hours per week *to start*

Schedule: Tuesday and Wednesday 12:00pm-4:00pm; Friday and Saturday 4:00pm-8:00pm


Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour based on experience and certifications

Your Rewarding Role

As a Life Care Professional for the Patriot Care team, you are essential to providing compassionate and trusting care. You will:

• Assist veterans with daily activities of living such as bathing, dressing, and transferring.
• Provide a supportive environment that builds trust with veterans and their families.
• Communicate veteran changes or health concerns directly with your care team.
• Complete necessary training and education with our electronic HR software.
• Use electronic software for timekeeping.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Minimum of 5 years professional caregiving experience
• Willingness to commute within a 30-mile radius
• Ability to lift 25 lbs
• Proficiency with mobile apps and technology

Salary Description
