Material handler

The role of the Warehouse Associate and Material Handler is to work in a high-performance work organization on a cross functional team that utilizes the employee’s ability to perform multiple tasks and work within a team environment. Candidates need to be cooperative and willing to apply their skills and rotate positions on a regular basis to make the team successful. Supervisory Responsibilities: Duties and Responsibilities: Work safely and follow safety rules and procedures. Read, understand, and follow production schedules. Gather materials as needed according to the production schedule and sales order. Communicate effectively with shop leads for flow of product through the plant. Maintain production information and documentation as appropriate. Perform housekeeping duties such as 5S. Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned such as being flexible to cross train and be used in multiple areas and departments. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment. Required Skills/Abilities: Excellent Attendance Strong attention to detail Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Basic math and measurement skills Ability to accurately read a tape measure Ability to use power tools and hand tools Ability to operate a forklift Display an attitude of continuous improvement and problem-solving Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required #J-18808-Ljbffr
