Occupational Therapist OT Responsibilities Completes thorough and accurate initial assessment and establishes appropriate plan of care for each patient as prescribed by physician. Implements appropriate treatment utilizing Activity of Daily Living (ADL) training, ROM, fine motor activities, functional mobility, therapeutic exercise for gross motor strength, cognitive-perceptual and sensorimotor activities, and patient and family/care person education. Adapts plan of care as needed to ensure that patients receive optimum benefit of treatment. Documents initial evaluation, daily treatment, reassessment, discharge and supplementary documentation as indicated thoroughly and accurately to provide effective communication with physicians and members of the rehabilitation team. Occupational Therapist OT Qualifications BS or MS in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution. Valid and current New York State Occupational Therapy license and registration with the National Board Certification for Occupational Therapy. #J-18808-Ljbffr
