You'll process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and more. All while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and a positive member experience. Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities: Represent the Credit Union in a courteous and professional manner, maintaining the Credit Union’s quality reputation. Maintain knowledge of all Credit Union products, services, policies, and procedures. Process deposits, loan payments, cashier’s checks, transfers, and disburse cash or check withdrawals. Open and close teller drawers daily, balancing transactions and verifying cash totals at the end of each day. Assist with member inquiries, resolve account issues, and present Credit Union products/services. Perform file maintenance, account changes, and account-related tasks as needed. Cross-sell Credit Union services and assist with related clerical duties. Perform drive‑up teller and night drop functions, if assigned. Physical Activities and Requirements: Talking: Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely. Hearing: Must be able to hear average conversations. Dexterity: Ability to make small movements with fingers for typing and handling small objects. Strength: Ability to exert up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally (mainly office tasks). Visual Abilities: Ability to prepare or inspect documents or products. Mental Activities and Requirements: Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense and deal with problems involving a few variables. Mathematics: Ability to perform basic math, use decimals, and interpret graphs. Language: Ability to communicate effectively and write in complex sentences with proper punctuation.
