Job Description

Job Summary:
The CT Tech will operate sophisticated GE imaging equipment to perform diagnostic scans, including CT, MRI, X-rays, and fluoroscopy, supporting patient diagnosis and care. They will collaborate with radiologists and medical staff to ensure high-quality imaging standards.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and troubleshoot GE imaging equipment to capture accurate diagnostic images.
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explaining procedures and ensuring comfort and safety.
• Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and infection control standards.
• Document procedures and patient information accurately within the EMR system (Meditech).
• Collaborate with radiologists and medical staff to meet diagnostic needs efficiently.
• Assist with equipment maintenance and report any issues to appropriate personnel.

Qualifications:

• Hold ARRT certification in CT and Florida State DOH license.
• Possess BLS certification.
• Demonstrate experience with GE imaging systems and Meditech EMR.
• Have a minimum of 2 years of clinical imaging experience.
• Display strong communication skills, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to multitask effectively.
• Be able to work day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, including on-call shifts 4-6 times per month.
