Neonatal Intensive Care Unit - Respiratory Therapist

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Ascension Health Resource and Supply Management Group, LLC (Direct) - Main and no current placement allowed at Program: Ascension Health Resource and Supply Management Group, LLC (Direct) - Main.

Additional Details:

In order to receive travel rate, clinician’s claimed residence must match address on driver’s license. Driver License is required for RN/LPN/PTs working on a compact license. Ascension Health does not accept vaccine/Tdap declinations.

Special Requests: Current Ascension employees cannot apply for travel roles. Candidates need to have employment separation for at least 6 months to be considered for a travel position.

Unit Details: Level III NICU. Busy Labor and Delivery unit.

Shift & Scheduling: Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week. Every other weekend. Holiday rotation.

Floating Requirements: May float to PICU, Pediatrics, Emergency Department, Adult ICU, and Medical-Surgical.

5 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required

Driver’s license required for submission

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
