Job Title: General Production Worker - Brazing and Refrigeration Assembly
Job Description
This role focuses on assembling and brazing copper and other metal components for commercial refrigeration systems used in hotels, casinos, and restaurants. You will perform precision brazing, assembly, and inspection tasks to ensure leak-free, durable joints that meet industry standards and client specifications.
Responsibilities

• Perform precision brazing of copper tubing and fittings for commercial refrigeration systems.
• Assemble refrigeration components including compressors, condensers, evaporators, valves, and associated piping.
• Ensure all brazed joints are leak-free and comply with required pressure and safety standards.
• Inspect brazed joints for defects using visual inspection and pressure testing methods.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship, organization, and cleanliness in all brazing and assembly operations.
• Work closely with engineers, technicians, and installers to ensure proper integration of refrigeration systems.
• Interpret and follow blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to complete assemblies accurately.
• Accurately document work performed, materials used, and any adjustments made during production.
• Report any issues, defects, or inconsistencies in materials, drawings, or assemblies to supervisors promptly.
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines when using torches, flux, and other brazing and fabrication tools.

Essential Skills

• Minimum 2 years of experience in brazing, preferably working with refrigeration systems.
• Proven experience working with copper material in brazing and assembly applications.
• Proficiency in using torches, flux, and other brazing tools and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and refrigeration schematics.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality, leak-free joints.
• Ability to perform assembly work involving compressors, condensers, evaporators, valves, and related components.
• Capability to conduct visual inspections and pressure testing of brazed joints.
• Solid understanding of basic welding, soldering, and fabrication principles.
• Reliable work habits and the ability to follow established production and safety procedures.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Familiarity with commercial refrigeration systems used in hospitality and food service industries.
• Experience in assembly and fabrication within a manufacturing or production environment.
• Comfort working from detailed blueprints and technical documentation.
• Basic knowledge of soldering techniques in addition to brazing.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with engineers, technicians, and installers.
• Strong communication skills for documenting work and reporting issues clearly.

Work Environment
This is a hands-on production role in a manufacturing environment focused on building commercial refrigeration equipment. The final products include stainless steel and refrigeration assemblies similar to those showcased at The standard schedule is Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., providing consistent daytime hours. You will work with copper tubing, metal components, torches, flux, and other brazing, welding, soldering, and fabrication tools around compressors, condensers, evaporators, valves, and associated piping. The facility is oriented toward safety, cleanliness, and efficient workflow, with an expectation of appropriate industrial work attire suitable for a shop and production floor setting.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Anaheim, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $38.00/hr.
