For over 70 years, WCOV FOX 20 has served a 15-county DMA and is Central and South Alabama's premier source for entertainment, sports, and proudly boasts the only live local newscast at 9 pm produced by WSFA.WSFA/WCOV is seeking a Part-Time Technical Media Producer (MCO). This position offers a great opportunity for a motivated individual with a technical aptitude who is passionate about media production and technical excellence. The scheduled shift is on Saturdays and Sundays from 11:00 am - 8:00 pm, with occasional coverage for other shifts at various times.Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Operation of "on air" television equipment and monitoring for quality controlRecord and playback programs with commercial insertion in a multi-channel, automated broadcast environment.Qualifications/Requirements:Must demonstrate a good working knowledge of computers and ability to work with equipment in a complex technical environment.
