The ideal candidate is dependable, resourceful, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment. This person should be able to communicate clearly, maintain accurate information, support cost-conscious decisions, and help keep projects organized from preconstruction through handoff. Part time with full time potential.

Key Responsibilities

·         Prepare and track purchase orders, subcontract agreements, bid packages, and related project documentation.

·         Perform takeoffs and assist with cost estimates for new and ongoing construction projects.

·         Analyze subcontractor bids and support award recommendations based on scope, pricing, and project needs.

·         Coordinate with Project Managers to confirm scope, schedule, budget alignment, and readiness for operations handoff.

·         Support preconstruction setup, procurement planning, vendor management, subcontractor coordination, and material delivery coordination.

·         Manage estimating workflow and cost development while maintaining accurate records and clear communication.

·         Track pipeline activity, bid performance, purchasing metrics, and project-related follow-up items.

·         Collaborate cross-functionally with estimating, operations, project management, vendors, and subcontractors to support successful project delivery.

·         Promote cost control, transparency, accountability, and schedule adherence throughout the purchasing and estimating process.

Qualifications

·         Experience in construction purchasing, estimating, procurement, project coordination, or a related construction support role preferred.

·         Ability to read project information, compare bids, organize details, and follow tasks through completion.

·         Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate effectively with internal teams, vendors, and subcontractors.

·         High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a proactive problem-solving mindset.

·         Experience with Buildertrend is a plus.

·         Strong desire to complete tasks accurately, efficiently, and on schedule.
