Help Desk Specialist

MicroCAD is seeking a Help Desk Specialist to be a technical support lead for Autodesk software applications and provide post-sales support services to clients in the AEC Industry (Architecture, Engineering and Construction). Qualified applicants will have a minimum of 3 years of using AutoCAD and Revit and other Autodesk software. Additionally, they should have excellent customer service skills. Applicants may have a CAD management, Drafting or IT Support position in the past. Applicant must have an advanced level of technical skills. Consult with clients in order to determine business needs. Work with customers in order to identify unrealized needs and recommend business process changes that help customers maximize ROI of purchased solutions. Support customers with the new solution deployment. Respond to customer requests for technical support via telephone or email. Develop, contribute to and implement detailed customer deployment plans. Recommend best practices for solutions to meet customer business needs. Help to identify key customer pain points and clearly communicate them to appropriate sales and technical team members for follow up. Work with the IT Manager on software and hardware updates for employees. Create and Present monthly live webcasts for clients on popular topics. Outbound Calls to our Support Contract Clients periodically for check-ups. Qualifications Required: Education: Bachelor’s degree required, with major in Engineering, Architecture or a related field. Experience: At least three years of industry related experience. IT Support, Drafting, CAD Manager or other Project based experience with Civil 3D, Revit and AutoCAD is preferred.
