Operations Supervisor (3rd Shift, Mon - Fri 9:30 PM - 6:00 AM)

Job Overview Position: Warehouse Operations Supervisor – Aurora, IL Presort facility. Compensation: $62,000 to $70,000 annually plus a 6% field bonus. Shift: 3rd Shift, Monday to Friday, 9:30 PM to 6:00 AM. Responsibilities Organize mail flow on the production floor by assigning workers and assessing volumes and type of mail based on current staffing levels to meet postal deadlines. Oversee production workers on the designated shift. Conduct supervisory duties including interviewing, hiring, training, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints, and solving problems. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable laws. Oversee quality function throughout the production area, ensuring Total Quality Management processes and procedures are followed. Assist Operations Manager in completing required USPS and internal reports, job costing reports, and application of all USPS postal regulations. Communicate pertinent information clearly and concisely between shifts. Suggest ways to increase efficiency of equipment use, working conditions, and employee motivation. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum of one year of supervisory experience in a presort, mailroom, or associated industry where familiarity with USPS requirements and/or regulations was applied. Minimum of two years of progressively responsible experience in a production or mailing industry environment. Strong knowledge of MS Excel and/or MS Access, along with basic knowledge of MS Word, internet, and email. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs or the maximum allowed by your state. Capacity to walk, stand, stoop, and bend 80% of the time with or without accommodation.
