We are seeking an experienced Automotive Master Technician with a high skill level to diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicles. This position requires the ability to work independently with minimal guidance, demonstrating thorough knowledge of standard car systems and proficient operation of shop equipment. Candidates with prior automotive experience, preferably ASE certified, are encouraged to apply. The role supports servicing new car models, commercial vehicles, and classic/vintage cars within a collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform vehicle diagnostics to identify issues accurately
- Execute engine repairs with precision and efficiency
- Conduct brake system services and maintenance
- Repair electrical systems across various vehicle types
- Maintain and service transmissions
- Operate and maintain shop equipment safely
- Solve mechanical problems independently and effectively
- Assess customer vehicles and recommend necessary repairs
- Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure vehicle longevity
- Replace parts following manufacturer standards
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in automotive repair
- High school diploma or GED
- ASE certification
- Expertise in automotive diagnostics, engine, brake, and electrical systems
- Proficient in operating shop equipment
- Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
- Effective communication skills for team collaboration and customer interaction
