Key Qualifications:

• Current certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
• Experience or strong interest in working within a school setting
• Familiarity with diverse K-12 populations and adapting support to a range of student needs
• Ability to collaborate with occupational therapists, teachers, and educational staff
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Valid licensure in the state of Massachusetts (or eligibility to obtain)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services under the supervision of an OT
• Support students in achieving their IEP goals related to fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily school participation
• Assist in developing and delivering individualized or group interventions tailored to student needs
• Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and session activities
• Communicate effectively with families, teachers, and the therapy team to promote student success
• Contribute to the school community in a positive, professional manner
