Inventory Control Specialist

Overview Lunds & Byerlys Plymouth is hiring for a full-time Inventory Control Specialist to support a positive shopping experience for customers. This is an in-person, full-time position with a competitive wage of $24.50-$29.13/hr . We operate 7 days a week and are open from 6:00am to 10:00pm. The employee will be scheduled a range of shifts between 4:00am and 7:00pm. Responsibilities Greet and assist customers and team members Coordinate invoices and execute daily pricing activities Monitor cycle counts and correct discrepancies or errors in the data processing cycle Count item units, inspect product quality, and randomly select items for closer inspection Receive product and maintain receiving hours and vendor access Ideal Inventory Control Specialist Team player – steps in to assist when and where needed Respectful – empathetic and appreciative of customers and team Innovative – implements trending and forward-thinking retail solutions Hospitable – provides a friendly face and welcoming environment Minimum Qualifications Experience 2 or more years of retail or food service experience desired Computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word) Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Service oriented with high energy and a friendly demeanor Proficiency in database maintenance, data entry, point of sale operations and 10-key Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word); Access experience is a plus Understanding of the retail grocery business is desired Other Requirements / Equipment Used Office equipment (computer, phone, printer, scanner, copier) Point of Sale equipment (register and credit card terminals) Pallet jack Ability to use Zebra handheld for CAO, ParTech, and self-management Benefits & Perks Flexible scheduling PTO (paid time off) Pay on demand Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance Tuition reimbursement and scholarships 10% employee and family discount Profit sharing and a 401(k) option Ongoing trainings and leadership development opportunities Community and volunteer programs Employee referral bonus Product samplings Opportunity to be nominated as a brand champion Compensation Disclaimer The actual rate of pay offered within the range may depend on factors such as skills, knowledge, experience, and internal equity considerations.
